Kimberly
Brooks

Scheduler & Auditor Lead

Kim is our Scheduler & Auditor lead at Creative Solutions for Hope headquarters located in our Orange County region. She is responsible for the processing permanent sessions for therapists and clients. Additionally, she is also responsible for maintaining constant communication with families/therapists regarding any permanent changes that occur within their schedules. Kim also works as an administrative assistant and occasionally covers the front desk as well as assists with office upkeep whenever needed. Outside of the office, Kim loves spending time outdoors as well as spontaneous outings with family and friends. 

Dereck
Coleman

Business Systems Analyst

Dereck is the Microsoft 365 Administrator and IT/Support Technician at Creative Solutions for Hope. He is responsible for setting up and maintaining the laptops, iPads, phones and workstations that our employees use on a daily basis. Dereck also manages applications, services, data, devices, and users across our Microsoft 365 services. He has experience in IT troubleshooting and office management. He is continuing his education to become a full service IT member and Cyber Security specialist. Dereck graduated from Irvine Valley College and received his A.S. Degree in Computer Science. He has his CompTIA A+ certificate and is working towards certificates in CompTIA Network+ and Security+. During free time, he likes to play board games with his family and friends and design and code computer games.

Amy
Duong

Administrative Assistant

Amy Duong is an administrator at Creative Solutions for Hope. She is responsible for auditing client notes to ensure clinical data is submitted correctly and in a timely manner. Amy also communicates and meets with behavior therapists to assist with any inquires or concerns. She has a background in teaching and experience in internal auditing and compliance. She enjoys assisting therapists with their work in bringing hope to families. 

Amy graduated from University of California – Riverside and received her BA in Liberal Studies. During free time, Amy likes to draw and play video games.

Samer Hussain

Finance Admin

 Samer Husain is a Finance Admin at Creative Solutions for Hope, where he is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including processing invoices, managing balances, and ensuring financial compliance. He oversees billing operations, ensuring that all client invoices are issued accurately and on time. Samer also monitors payments and follows up on outstanding balances. With a passion for finance, Samer aims to continue improving financial operations through effective billing practices, enhanced data management, and fostering strong interdepartmental communication, ultimately contributing to the growth and financial health of the organization.

Samer is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s degree at San Diego State University, with plans to graduate in May 2027. He holds a certificate in Business Economics and has completed a Python programming certification, expanding expertise in data analysis and automation for financial processes. In his free time, Samer enjoys cooking, training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and spending quality time with his cats.

Lorelai Lara

HR Assistant

Lorelei is an HR Assistant at Creative Solutions for Hope. She is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources department, including maintaining files, managing calls, and guiding employees to the appropriate resources. She also assists with various HR projects to help ensure smooth and efficient operations. She has experience in human resources within a large healthcare setting and previously spent four years as an after-school educator. She is passionate about creating positive experiences—both by supporting initiatives that enrich the lives of children and by fostering a supportive and efficient workplace environment.

Lorelei completed a long-term Human Resources internship, gaining experience across all HR areas, strengthening her communication with colleagues at all levels, and learning to manage responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. In her free time, she enjoys playing instruments, reading, and caring for her plants.

Kat Martinez

Scheduler

Kat is a scheduler at Creative Solutions for Hope. Kat also assists Front Desk as an Administration assistant. She is responsible for managing consistent communication and addressing the concerns of both therapists/families. She is responsible for developing and overseeing Client and Staff schedules in the SD region. She has experience as a Senior RBT at Creative Solutions for Hope. During Kats free time she likes to go roller skating, whether that’s on a rink or the street. Kat also loves to sing and do karaoke on her free time.

Katherine Martinez

Administrative Assistant

Katherine Martinez is an administrative assistant in Creative Solutions for Hope. She is responsible not only for the front desk, but she is responsible for the administrative work of auditing client notes to ensure that everything is submitted on time and correctly. She also supports with translations in the front desk with parents and on scheduling phone calls. Creates organizations plans for office and office toy & craft room. On her free time, she enjoys to spend time with family and loves to listen to live music.

Monae Mason

Human Resources Assistant

Monae is an HR Assistant at Creative Solutions for Hope. She is responsible for coordinating and supporting the onboarding process, preparing HR documentation, and assisting with employee benefits and insurance matters. Monae also handles phone communications, assists with time off request, and provides general administrative support to the HR department. She has experience in human resources and administrative support in a higher education setting. Monae is passionate about creating a smooth onboarding experience and ensuring HR processes run efficiently.

Monae graduated from California State University, Long Beach and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources. She brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting the HR team. During her free time, she likes to play pickleball, cook, and travel.

Iliana Meza

Insurance Intaker

Iliana Meza is one of our lovely insurance intake queens. Her role at CSH is to support families with starting ABA services at the company. She is responsible for insuring that parents complete our initial intake process before being assigned to our clinical supervisors. She supports front desk when necessary and translating parents during the assessments.

Iliana graduated in 2020 from University of California, Riverside with a major in Political Science International Affairs. She is currently working on getting her certificate for Spanish / English Language Interpretation and Translation. 

Jay Patel

Business Systems Analyst

Jay joined Creative Solutions for Hope in 2008 with an Accounting and Management degree from Sardar Patel University. He comes with 15+ years of well-rounded experience in the financial field from various industries. His career with CSH started as bookkeeper and Patel grew his knowledge and experience and developed into the Business Systems Analyst. When Jay is not working you can find him watching sports, reading, and spending time with his children.

Sandra Servin

OC Front Desk

Sandra is Receptionist at Creative Solutions for Hope. She serves as the first point of contact, which involves greeting guests, she is responsible for  answering and directing phone calls, getting clients sign in and out of sessions, getting the therapist supplies for their sessions, maintaining office clean and organized, delivering mail to proper personnel. Sandra also does client cancelations and food orders for office events.   Sandra graduated high school in 2000. During her free time she likes to bake, paint and do actives with the family. 

Michelle Sanchez

Auditor and Scheduler

Michelle Sanchez is the auditor and scheduler at Creative Solutions for Hope. She is responsible for coordinating therapy sessions between clients, behavior technicians, and supervising clinicians. She is also responsible for reviewing and auditing daily session notes submitted by technicians and supervising clinicians to ensure clinical and billing accuracy as well as documentation quality. During free time, she likes to spend time outdoors and stay active. 

Kathy Vergara

Kathy graduated High School in 2023. She is currently exploring her career options. During her free time she likes to go to the gym and travel. 

Henry Vien

Admin Assistant

Henry V is an administrative assistant at Creative Solutions for Hope. He is responsible for billing insurance and securing payments from many sources. Henry is also responsible for sending invoices and making sure everything gets recorded correctly. He has experience in customer service and banking. His goal is to eventually work for the budgeting team of a hospital.

Henry graduated from California State University Fullerton and received his finance degree. During free time, he likes to listen to streams and browse through games he can play with his friends.
