Xyrine
Co-Untian, B.S.

Case Manager | San Diego

Xyrine is a Case Manager at Creative Solutions for Hope. At a young age, she discovered her passion for working with children but was yet to decide between becoming a doctor or a teacher. Determined to find the right path, she pursued developing a deeper understanding of both areas of study. Outside the classroom, she worked as a tutor and babysitter, actively participated in cultural, medical, and education clubs, and volunteered at mobile clinics and after school tutoring programs. By 2017, Xyrine graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in Education from UC Davis. Through research, she discovered the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and quickly realized it was the perfect hybrid between medicine and education that she had been searching for.

Xyrine started as an RBT in 2019, learning and growing more passionately with every kid she works with. Her experiences include implementation of ABA from early intervention to early teens in various settings with varying levels of target behaviors. Additionally, Xyrine has experience as a Case Manager for a clinic’s Behavioral Health Department, where she collaborated with a team of health professionals to provide care coordination and support to individuals and their families. Xyrine completed her Master of Science in ABA from National University in April 2023. She is now working on completing her fieldwork hours in preparation for the BCBA exam.

As a Case Manager, Xyrine aims to ensure that her clients receive the support and resources they need. She brings with her ideas and skills to teach target behaviors in the natural environment, incorporating fun-filled activities such as play, arts and crafts, music, etc. while creating individualized programs and session structures. Lastly, she collaborates with client’s family member(s), the CSH team, school, and other stakeholders to develop behavior plans that meet the client’s and the family’s needs, and readily celebrates any progress made, big or small.
