Entry Level Behavior Technician/RBT 

Locations Hiring: Orange County, Inland Empire, Los Angeles County, San Diego County, San Fransisco County

ENTRY LEVEL POSITION WITH NO EXPEREINCE NECESSARY 

Creative Solutions for Hope is looking for Behavior Technicians/Therapists to join our clinical team! This entry-level position works with children, teens, and young adults with Autism and is within one of the fastest-growing healthcare fields. If you’re looking to make a difference this position perfect for you.

Job Summary: 

As an Entry Level BT (Behavior Technician/Therapist) you get to work with clients on the autism spectrum of all ages. You directly get to make a difference in each one of their lives working with them in 1 on 1 sessions using the Applied Behavior Analysis Principles. 

Responsibilities: 

• Work with Clients in their homes to ensure that they have skill sets to be independent 

• Work alongside the caregivers to ensure they can attend tasks, engage with others, and communicate needs and wants 

• Teach clients and build strong professional but fun relationships with them 

• Attend to clients diligently to ensure client safety 

• Accurately record clinical data 

• Always maintain confidentiality and dignity of clients 

• Collaborate with and receive support and ongoing training from case managers and supervisors

Required Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent or are currently enrolled in college courses 

• Must have a valid driver’s license and personal and reliable vehicle 

• Must be familiar in the use of technology (e.g., computer, iPad) 

• Monday-Friday availability, weekend, and afternoon to evening hours (Preferred) 

• Pass a Livescan background check and TB test 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree or are currently enrolled in college courses 

• Experience working with children that have been diagnosed with Autism or with other intellectual disabilities 

• CPR or BLS certification 

• Registered Behavior Technician credential (RBT) 

• Fluent in second language (Spanish, Farsi, Korean, Vietnamese)

ABA Case Manager/Program Manager

Locations: Inland Empire, San Diego County, San Fransisco County

Through our devoted team of experts, we utilize ABA therapy to create individualized instruction and programming geared to benefit children with developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders.

Job Summary:

The Case Manager (Level I) is responsible for working directly with clients to provide ABA therapy, conducting program management, and learning the Clinical Supervisor role. They will be under the direct supervision of a Senior Clinical Supervisor and Director as they grow professionally.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to client’s home/community (if applicable)
  • Conducting 1:1 ABA therapy sessions as needed
  • Discussing the details of new and current cases with their Clinical Supervisor
  • Monitoring requirements for assigned cases and ensuring that staff completes these requirements by the deadline
  • Providing mentorship to behavioral therapists, including setting goals, following up on goals, modeling appropriate strategies, and delegating tasks
  • Overlap with RBTs as needed (minimum of 2 client overlaps per month)
  • Provide ongoing parent consultations monthly and provide feedback (i.e., modeling a teaching strategy, review of data collected, behavior intervention plan, teaching of ABA principles)
  • Submit accurate and sufficient documentation for each session weekly according to funding source requirements
  • Complete report writing and assessments as supplemental data
  • Update Catalyst with goals if applicable
  • Observation of the client in various settings and situations (as needed): school, after school program, speech therapy sessions, occupational therapy sessions, community outings, etc.
  • Provide consultation regarding IEP issues and present levels as requested by caregiver(s)
  • Attend monthly management meeting to keep up on industry trends and training

Qualifications:

  • Must have a master’s level degree or higher in Psychology (i.e., Clinical, School, Child, etc.), Licensed Marriage and Family (LMFT), Child Development, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • BCBA coursework must be completed and a minimum of 1000 hours accrued towards BCBA supervision
  • Current CPR or BLS certification required (or obtain upon hire)
  • Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office and electronic data collection software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Catalyst)
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years working with children diagnosed with Autism or other related developmental disorders.
  • Maintain billable expectancy of 30 hours per week
  • Sit for the BCBA exam within one year from the dates listed on the conditional offer letter
  • At least two years of experience in a supervisory/management position (Preferred)
  • Bilingual (Spanish, Vietnamese, etc.) (Preferred)

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Job Summary:

The BCBA is responsible for managing and supervising the Case Managers and Behavior Therapist of CSH. They will be meeting with families to discuss their child’s treatment plan, meeting with the child to observe their behaviors, and taking detailed notes during sessions to assess progress towards each of their goals. Ultimately, you will work directly with our families to identify and correct their child’s maladaptive behaviors they are experiencing in their lives. We welcome anyone who wants to succeed in our supportive environment and continually develop yourself, both professionally and personally.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create opportunities to teach new skills where you will observe the behavior of each child in the home and other community settings (if applicable)
  • Formulate an appropriate treatment plan that is sensitive to the client’s cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs, in addition to the families’ needs.
  • Create and administer programs to teach age-appropriate developmental skills for children and tailor interventions as needed (i.e., minimal progress toward goals, decreasing trend, mastered targets, etc.)
  • Ensure behavior treatment plans are consistently updated as needed (i.e., interventions required to be modified, new maladaptive behaviors observed, etc.)
  • Suggest additional treatment by other professionals as required; provide additional resources for families to access for their child’s needs
  • Abide by funding source billing and work requirements
  • Analyzing Data – Review and assess each of the program’s progress each month and ensure valid data/documentation is properly saved by the behavior technicians
  • Provide ongoing training and mentorship to behavioral therapists (i.e., overlapping with behavior therapists during direct 1:1 service, model interventions and program goals, provide constructive feedback and guidance)
  • Conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions as needed
  • Provide on-going training and evaluate Mid-Tier ABA Case Managers
  • Delegate and assign tasks to case managers as needed (e.g., stimuli creation), and ensure completion
  • Ensure ongoing parent consultation is being conducted by case managers or yourself monthly and the data collected is entered in the electronic data collection system
  • Provide accurate and sufficient documentation for each session per funding source requirements.
  • Complete report writing and assessments as supplemental data.

Qualifications:

  • Must have BCBA certification
  • Must have completed the 8-hour BCBA Supervision course per the BCAB
  • Must have completed CAQH, insurance credentialing applications, and modules
  • Must have a current CPR or BLS certification required (or obtain upon hire)
  • Must be computer literate in Microsoft (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • The ability to remain composed and adherent to best practices
  • Excellent vocal and written communication skills
  • Maintain billable expectancy of 30 hours per week
  • At least two years of experience in a supervisory/management position (Preferred)
  • Bilingual in Spanish (Preferred)
